What are the Landscape Beautification Awards?
A Landscape Beautification Award honors those who create and maintain beautiful landscapes in the City of Coral Gables. Each year, through the Awards program, the Landscape Beautification Advisory Board honors landscapes that are beautiful and best represent the character of the City. The Board and the City Commission hope that through sharing the results of the beautification efforts, others are inspired to enhance the quality of life along the streetscapes in every neighborhood and district of the City. Submissions of applications for Beautification Awards can be made by anyone by filling out the nomination form available here or through contact with the Public Service Department by calling 305-460-5131. All residential and commercial properties in the City are eligible for this award. The Board encourages applications from anyone interested in advancing beautification efforts in Coral Gables. The deadline for application each year is December 31st. Awardees are honored each year by the City Commission during a public ceremony and the winning properties will be showcased here on this website.
